2027 Dental

Colquitt County Schools offers two Simple Dental plan options, administered by 90 Degree Benefits. The Simple Dental plan is self-insured, which allows the district greater control over the cost and benefit design. This provides a long-term opportunity to reduce expenses while enhancing the benefits package for employees.The Simple Dental Basic and Enhanced plan options are very easy to use and understand.

Key features of the dental plan options are:

• You may visit any dentist without worrying about a network.
• All dental procedures are covered except for cosmetic procedures (e.g., whitening services and veneers) and services related to workers’ compensation injuries.
• Orthodontia is excluded on the Basic Plan.
• There are no frequency limits for your services, with the exception of preventive and diagnostic services.
• Preventive and diagnostic services, subject to usual and customary charges, are covered at 100% and do not count towards the Annual Maximum Benefit.
• There are no deductibles with the Simple Dental plan options.
• The Simple Dental plans pay up to the usual and customary charge (the 90th percentile of dental fees in your area). If a dentist charges more, you may owe the difference.
