Open enrollment ends on Friday, November 8 at 11:59 p.m. Elections are effective on January 1, 2025 with the first deductions being taken in December 2024.
Enrollment is strongly encouraged for both medical and voluntary benefits.
Medical: There are no changes to the medical benefit plans for 2025, but there will be an increase in premiums. If you intend to add dependents to your health plan, ADP will reach out to request the necessary verification documents. They will provide a personalized fax cover sheet with a bar code that must accompany your submission. If you do not receive this request, please contact SHBP at (800) 610-1863 to have it sent. Your dependents will not be covered until the required documentation has been approved.
Non-Medical Voluntary: There are no changes for vision, FSA, life insurance, Short Term Disability, legal, permanent life insurance, or identity theft plans or premiums. Dental plans will have a premium increase for 2025. Long Term Disability and Critical Illness plans will have a rate reduction. Prudential will become the new provider for Accident and Critical Illness plans. In addition, a new Hospital Indemnity plan will be available for 2025.
